Well just to stay on topic, I'm going to try and make the best of it.  I used to think conventions were pointless but that's because I only acknowledged the consumer side of it but now I realize that the other part of what cons are is a social experience.  So while I'm not excited about buying over priced dvds and pocky I will be looking forward to meeting new people and making memories.
It ain't the meaning of life but the feeling of it.
