I've never pre-registered for Fanime before, and I've only been  to Fanime once. That was last year.
So, after following the steps of pre-reg.. what happens? What do I do?
[Havn't registered yet, just wanting to know what happens and what I do  before I screw something up..><]

1) follow steps on website:
    a: Choose your badge
    b: Enter your membership details
    c: Confirm your registration
    d: Send Payment

2) print out confirmation postcard when we announce they are available

3) bring postcard and fanime approved identification to con any day before the end of con

4) enjoy con

Oh, you got me all excited when you said you could choose your badge. I thought you meant you could choose the design. ;.;

Ah, thank you.
So should I wait?
Or would the prices go up?

& yeah.. I wanted to design my badge ;.; I got really excited. Dx

^^ And I thought the instructions were simple enough to understand to preregister.

The price will go up, that's for sure. So pay $45 until the cut off date or pay more a bit after the cut off date.

Nyxyin

Prices definitely go up.  In previous years, it was something like $35 if you get it very early, going up in something like $5-ish increments, all the way to $55 if you register at the convention.  The difference can buy you two graphic novels!

xOchiix

Ouch! Dx.

So, pre-reg was $35 once-upon-a-time?

& Now it's $45?

Jeez, I need to register now! Dx.

Thanks guy's :P

Sorry about my clueless questions >< I just like to get the facts down before I even try.

One more stupid question though...
Were is the line for pre-reg? Like.. when you go to pick the badges up? Dx
Thanks again!

You mean where? They'll tell/show you where it is when you come in to get your badge. It's very easy to find it.

Did it start out as $35 this year too?
I thought I got mine pretty early, but I'd like to know how early you can usually buy badges   :D   Get really on top of this  lol

I'm *think* it started out as $35 when you bought it at the 2008 convention and $45 online after the convention, but I know that the earliest you could buy next year's badges is on the last day of the convention.

So I could have bought 2009 memberships on Monday of the 2008 convention.

Okay, okay, nice.  Just need to make sure we have more time that day  (our ride back to town showed up an hour early last year :P )
