I'm looking for some anime that get seriously confusing and depressing towards the end, like Evangelion. Please help me

hmmm, im not so sure about confusing, but if you want depressing, go for clannad, more particularly the after story. i cried for so many episodes during it. it was so sad.  but it was amazing.

Anything by Naoki Urasawa is worth the reading/watching. Personally I'd recommend Yawara, Monster, 20th Century Boys, and Pluto.

I highly recommend the anime "The Devil is a Part Timer" the humor is excellent. Plus the entire concept of Satan working at McDonalds in Japan is highly entertaining.

I will strongly suggest Eyeshield 21, its based on American Football quite a lot of action and fun

In the Horror Category:

I have been reading "Corpse party blood covered" and its pretty interesting and a good classic horror. (Very long also)
There apparently are OVAs for Corpse Party I have not seen them but they look good
Also for manga one shots, the work of Junji Ito is pretty good.
For anime, I guess Mirai Nikki could be considered a horror anime? I really liked it.
