Rollerblades?

I'm new to Fanime this year and so I just have to ask: are rollerblades allowed inside the convention center? I was planning on Cosplaying as a character from Air Gear but I don't know if I want to put the effort into making "Air Treks" if I can only wear them outdoors.

Sorry, no wheeled devices on the concourse. Lower levels (First floors, sure). Second floor concourse, No.

This is a SJCC thing. They wont allow scooters, skateboards, roller blades, roller skates, etc.
