Are Fight Scenes Allowed in the Masquerade?

Are fight scenes allowed? a friend of mine and I are trained in swordwork and will use foam swords. has anyone seen something like this allowed before?

In order to be allowed to do sword fighting you have to show your skit to the Masquerade Staff's sword fighting professional for safety approval.

At least that's how it was last year.
