A few friends and I are planning to do a kind of So You Think You Can Dance skit with video game/anime characters instead.
We're planning on doing a lot of movement, (ex: not Caramell dansen style)
Things like pirouettes, leaps, fouttes etc.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how slippery the floor is so none of us could possibly end up severely injured.

We really want to do this skit, but safety first!

I wiped out on it last year, but that's cause I slipped on my cloak.
uh...I mean... it was part of the skit... >.>;;

It's a standard painted wooden stage. If you're used to wearing dance shoes on hardwood floors, you should be ok.

Get a piece of wet paper towel. Wet your shoes before going on. Should do the trick. If not, some rosin works too, but its a lil harder to get than a wet paper towel....
