Mizuki

I might be interested in a couple of those HDs. I'll give you a heads up.

meldoy1991

I'm interested in the 320GB for 40 bucks. Do you have any pictures? I'd like to take a look first. And how do you take payment?

Steve.Young

Which 320? WD, Seagate, Hitachi?

I have pictures.

If your local, cash would be perfect. If not, paypal would probably be the other way.

SOawesomeness

If it was by paypal, it would probably include shipping, right?

But uh in any case, would it be possible to just do it at the next Fanime meeting, seeing as she's always there?

Melz is taking a nap so I'm talking on her behalf. :D

Yeap, but it would be cheap/slow USPS shipping =).

But yea, if she's local it would simply be cash.

Haha, thanks Lizzy. :D

Erm, I called my dad and looked over the specs of my laptop and so it turns out that I need to make sure it's a SATA hard drive. (My laptop's a Dell Inspiron 1720) I'm still a little unclear what the 'SATA' is referring to, but the hard drive should come equipped with SATA connector cables...yes? ><;;

And I'm good with just meeting you at the next staff meeting on...March 14th and paying you there with cash. I'm not in any hurry to get the thing.

Steve.Young

Okay, SATA is the connector type.

If your talking about a laptop, there is no cable. Because it plugs directly into your hard drive bay built into your notebook/motherboard.
Only desktops requires a SATA cable and power cable.

I actually still need to buy a caddy and that's on its way right now so yeah. >_<

But...my dad's also interested in getting one 320gb hard drive for himself so I'm hoping you've still got the others? :)

Steve.Young

Uhm, yea I do, but some of them are opened. But the warranty on them are good until like 2012 or 2013, so he just needs to send it back to the manufacturer if there's a problem down the line.

I also have Solid State Hard Drives if you want a higher performance (Read/Write times are much higher).

My dad says that he's willing to buy as long as you can verify that they work as of now...

Steve.Young

Why, yes. Yes they do. If they were broke, I would have warrantied them myself =).
