Help with Cosplay!

I'm planning to go as Rukia Kuchiki to the Bleach gathering on Sunday. But I can't decide witch costume to pick ???:
1 the school uniform
2 Shinigami/Soul Reaper
3 Prisoner
4 Dark Rukia (Fade to BLack) http://bleach.wikia.com/wiki/Image:Rukia%2C_evil.jpg
This one might be hard...
I plan on making it from scratch so if anyone can tell me where to get patterns that would be great. Also any other random info related to this topic is greatly accepted.

I have seen many Rukia's and I am sure to see at least 2 this Fanime of "evil" Rukia. I can't really answer your question because I don't know enough info to really help you so I decided to point you to a place to ask your questions: http://www.cosplay.com

Go to their forums and look through the "How To" type threads. Things you want to know ahead of time is what your $$$ amount is to make this cosplay, what help or assistance do you have available if you run into problems making the cosplay, how well do you know how to sew (as a whole), and is 6 weeks enough time for you to complete this project. If you want to wear it for Fanime 09. Ask around on C.c forums especially in the Bleach cosplay threads and see what you can find out.
