Early registration or At-the-door registration?

This will be the first I attend Fanime-con...

Since I've already missed the Pre-reg cutoff, is the line for early registered attendees shorter than the at the door registration line on Friday?
I've been in many a badge pickup line and looked over at the line for people just walking in and behold it is half as long!

you know in 2007 I would have definitely said early reg, but now we have our new system (thanks B) at-con runs super fast too....It really depends on when you show up. Fri will be busy for early reg, but fri evening or sat will be better for early.

Bear in mind that our system is constantly changing and also changing the dynamics of our lines.

Yeah, I'm still having a hard time trying to figure this out. I paid $55 for my registration, is that pre-reg or early-reg? Its so mixed up I cant tell anymore. I cant tell weather I'm a pre-reg now or a early-reg. Please help!
