although we have alot of choir activities and makes my throat hurts (even if I'm an alto XO~!) we're stll practicing to make this a fun contest XD

There are 25 names on the list.

27 people signed up before I took down the link. Two were rejected. Otherwise, I was going to have to tell the last two people they didn't make it in.

Will we take more than 10 at-con signups though? Hmm, good question. I'll have an answer next week when I post the at con signup info.

The only songs I can sing pretty good are Maximum The Hormone songs.:D

Only because I can make my voice deep and crazy like the singer.:)

But I guess it would be too dark for little kids to hear.:D

I used my dark voice and everyone in the room where telling me I turned it to a devil song. ;D The best song I can do in my mind is Korn's "Freak on a leash" and yes, it does hurt my trought after I finish singing it.:(

idk if you just want to attempt to please the crowd then just sing during open mic. A few more good singers during then is always good. But if you don't really want to win the Karaoke contest, it's best to let those who are serious about it sign up.

I hope to see some new faces in the contest this year as well. It kind of seems like the same certain people sing up over and over again, but I guess I can understand why.

I was really serious about signing up for this karaoke contest. And I hope the people that got in are too. Cause now my mother is fussing how she doesn't want me to miss an entire day of school for this convention. And I don't know if I'll be able to sign up or not.

If people drop out then I will find it funny and interesting.

I hope we have some real talent in this list instead of a few weirdos who could possibly just perform in open mic or the gong show.

Singing in costume is gonna be fun too.  My costume is Byakuya from Bleach.  Imagine that strong silent type singing a super girly song!!  I'll prolly wear that either Friday or Saturday.  If I get into the contest, tho, I'll prolly change my costume to something that looks better.

I quite agree.  Though i've only watched contests from small conventions, the people who end up winning are usually not that good.  Or the person who wins is exceptionally better than the competition.  This is my first convention of such a large scale, save for Tokyo's Anime Fair, so I'm expecting the competition to be intense. I'll be disappointed if it isn't.
