I'm in desperate need for a "Firearm" prop for my "KILLZONE 2" cosplay

Like this:

My current "FAMUS" is NOT allow because its a airsoft gun.
Regardless it has moving part & its almost impossible for me to disable all of it.
So I will respect the rules.

Though I have no idea what to use to replace it when.
I could get those fake rubber combat knife if it comes down to it.

LOL!

Wow I never thought of that.

Its pretty hard to get a firearm as a prop.

-No moving part (No Airsoft/Watergun)
-You have to be able to tell its a toy @ 20ft

Edit:

I just figure out 2 idea:

-Use a starwar gun blaster rifle as a prop
-Make a Flag Pole & Carry it around

If it's not too much trouble or a hassle, I would bring the prop anyway and let the peace bonding staff decide on site, just make sure that it has an orange cap.

The moving part clause seems to be listed under and applies mostly to "flail weapons" though of course this could apply to other weapons; but yes, the biggest problem as you mentioned is that it's an airsoft gun.

Worst case is you would just need to leave it in your room. :p

I'll definitely be on the lookout for you for a picture!

MAke a whole seperate prop? People like me do this all the time.
I could make it for you or you can come to my panel and see how to yourself.

Going by Fanime's weapon policy, the Killzone gun would still be too realistic looking for them to allow.  Which really, really sucks for people that enjoy military themed costumes, but that's the way things have been at Fanime for a while.

One cheap, quick alternative you could look in to is modifying a Nerf gun.  They are pretty brightly coloured, so there's a higher chance of it getting okayed.  Just be sure to disable its working somehow.
