BSapphire -- the Fanime gatherings coordinator.  The most recent post is what you should be aware of, and the first two talk formatting, I think.

(And there's a pretty big difference between Miranda and Captain Mom.  I think I just don't flail very well.  Woe My Life Is Fail I can manage, though.)

@ Charis: Thank you for letting Yuu know. I was floating around checking on listed urls that are in jeopardy and saw your post :) I won't delete the thread, but I will not list the url on the threads list. That first post is very helpful to the cosplayers out there to find out what gatherings are happening and finding the ones they are interested in.

@ Yuu: Just in case you are new to organizing a gathering here are two URLs you should check out:

If your gathering is on the final list here (1st post) then it will be posted on large boards around Fanime during the convention and many of the photographers are using the list to find the gatherings to shoot pictures of. Also, by being an organizer the Cosplayer Gatherings Department works to recognize, reward and assist the organizers, help all Fanime attendees find out about the gatherings, when and where they are, and much more.

Time Request Submissions for the Gatherings List do not open till January 7, 2010. The large 60 + cospeep gatherings from the past have first choice of time. Those are: Naruto, Final Fantasy All, Bleach, and Shonen Jump. Once their times are in the slots other gatherings can request day and time.

Please update your first post in the above mentioned format and then submit your thread url to the gatherings url thread also mentioned in my above post.

That IS a good question. Some time on Sunday because that's my birthday and I want an excuse to be self-centered the Bleach is Saturday ( I think.)

Point being, how about Sunday? I'm thinking of having more than one gathering.

Also, for my birthday I would LOVE to have a giant game of cosplay-Arkham Horror. ( It's a great game and it hates you)

On the earlier side of Sunday would work for me, I think -- believe Trinity Blood's aiming for the afternoon again (though I'm not sure), and the Black and White Ball is in the evening.  Not too early, of course, especially since I expect the Masquerade Saturday night will have some folks up later, but perhaps in the midday range?
