I have many questions :P

1) What is the cheapest hotel that is with in walking distance or very short drive from the convention, or which was the cheapest you've had?

2) Did/Does it have free parking/ how do they charge for parking?

3) You think you would get in trouble for having more then 4 people in the hotel room?

4) Do they have a mini fridge or something and do you think you can hook up a console to the TV?

1) The Marriott's low-end rooming option was $88 in 2009 (probably higher for 2010) and it's connected to the convention center.
2) I used valet parking, which is half off ($12.50 a day with unlimited in/out privileges)
3) You probably could if you don't attract attention to your room (i.e. room parties or property damage). I wouldn't recommend it though since some hotel rates are dependent on attendee behavior.

right now its 99/night
free wifi
free parking
free breakfast stuff
clean rooms
mini-fridge in all rooms

CON:
not affiliated with con/ no discount
all rooms open to outside walkway
2 blocks from the con, not bad but not great for cosplayers with big props/ people who want to go back and fourth to their rooms
bathroom door does not lock, sink is seperate from toilet/shower
