We've been warning you for months....and now its here!

BAAS Christmas Party

When: Sat Dec 19th

Time: 1pm - 10pm

Where: 733 Santa Maria Road, El Sobrante

Once again you are being invited to hang out, watch movies, socialize with 'interesting' people and eat yourself into a food coma. A tentative menu will be sent out soon.

We ask you to please bring soft drinks, ice, and movies to share. if you plan to bring any dishes to share, try and let me know ahead of time.

Bring a warm Coat or canned food and gain a chance to win prizes!

While we party, let's try and help those who have not been as fortunate. All donations will go to the Bay Area Rescue Mission in Richmond. The more canned food or Coats you bring, the more raffle tickets you get!

Hmm, always been meaning to goto a BAAS event. Hopefully I'll make it.

Anyone reading this and needing a ride from the San Jose area, I'd be willing to carpool.
Pm me or post to set something up.

Looking forward to it.  :)

BAAS =  Bay area Animation Society
[please correct me if im wrong]

think of them as bay area wide - Anime club [well society], I believe most of their members had been a part or was involved with clubs such as :

No Name Anime
www.nnanime.com

Foothill Anime
foothill.anime.net

and most likely have active members in Fanime Con as well. They're a bunch really awesome ppl that host, semi annual gatherings for local charities and you really cant complain about making new friends over free food and goodies. :)

Folks from other Anime clubs are welcome to attend No-Name Anime showings. While I think once upon-a-time there was a BAAS group that regularly attended the showings, I don't know of any more significant involvement. If anyone from BAAS has been attending in recent years, they've either been quiet about it or I haven't been paying enough attention. Since our December meeting is above averagely festive, sometimes we have more of the faithful from other clubs than in other months so I'll try to pay more attention.
