Just out of curiosity when does Fanime begin to announce guests? And has the guest list been finalized?

I think I'm the wrong section for this question but I can't delete this post.

Sadly I have no answers, but I'd like to know about this too.  I guess no one's been confirmed yet?

Fanime may release one or two guests in the next month or so, but the bulk of the announcements come in the latter part of April and May. Fanime's Guest Relations department is usually juggling guests up till and including con.

Keep an eye out for our main page and other sources. We will be posting them and issuing press releases as we confirm guests.

Thanks ewu!  Yeah, last year's visit with Karen Dyer was a surprise, wasn't she announced like only a few days before the con? (Oddly enough the same thing happened at SacAnime)  Looking forward to it...

The lovely Karen Dyer essentially showed up on her own after hearing that much of the Resident Evil 5 cast were coming. It was really fantastic and a joy to have her!

This sort of thing happens pretty much every year; guests will show up as a last-minute surprise. I guess I can say now that there were several very prominent staff from GAINAX two years ago that came in relative anonymity along with the rest of the crowd.

There's one guest being announced on Valentine's day, and there are probably 2-3 more coming soon after. Not to mention our old friends from the Bay Area, U.S., and GAINAX. Eric's pretty much explained how the announcements tend to work.
