Well, we're on the official gatherings list, so I can't imagine the gathering is in any real trouble. (They're confirming the gatherings in that thread now, you should probably post to confirm the time/location and number of attendees and the like there regardless)

I know what you mean about feeling ignored. I PMed BSaphire a while ago about the FMA gathering and she hasn't gotten back to me either. I'm trying to take over as organizer for that gathering, so it's kind of freaking me out XD;

@Krispy: What I used for my Keyblade is basically a wooden stick... thing (its obviously thick enough to not break) as the base of the Keyblade and styrofoam for the handles and the actual blade. Then I used paper mache to smooth the edges a bit. Then I just painted it over. xD;
Though... I dunno if it will be the same for Ven's Keyblade. o3o; Its kinda... curvy looking. xD;

Haha, really? I need an Axel and a Roxas to complete the trio theme. =w=; Even without a trio, I still have my Kairi and Riku :3
omfg... I was wondering all this time if there was gonna be a Ventus this year x3; Now that I know that you're gonna be doing that... you better watch out. I might glomp you out of nowhere >w>; (If you're okay with that >3< ~!!). HARHAR~

@Hanatsuki: Oh~ Styrofoam under paper mache! I would have never thought of that XD What a good idea~
Mine's probably gonna have to be made out of cardboard. A friend of mine made a guitar by gluing together a stack of cardboard and then carving the shape and details out of that. It turned out REALLY nice! I've been meaning to try out that method myself, we'll see how it goes. (I'm gonna need more glue...)

Oh, now I have to fix my Org coat >__> I'll already have my Roxas hair, after all~ (and I have my friend's, admittedly dead, Axel wig too)

@Krispy: Oh yeah! You can so do that too! Haha. Then after shaping it you can just paper mache it over :3 I'll tell you now.. if you're planning on paper maching, it'll take a few days to dry completely (especially if its on top of cardboard).

Ah, I've actually never gotten the chance to cosplay Roxas yet >__>; My friends made me the coat for my birthday two years ago, but we keep doing other cosplay, and I only got the wig very recently. I'm definitely bringing the coat to Fanime, though, we always need it for something or other~

Crap, there's more than one Xion on the list, too. Hmmm, well, just you wait! I'll take a wild guess and it will end up being you! (Or we can spaz obviously at each other and just have mutual glomping. I also enjoy some mutual glomps)

I just got my organization coat last month... >w>; And, I wish I can make my own cosplays. The only thing close to making anything cosplay related is props ;w;

Raaaah. I tried sewing the simplest thing (a crown) and I ended up having my mom making the crown for me xD; Haaah. Oh well.
I guess I'll have to stick with props. ^^;;

I just wanted to let a couple of you know that I wasn't really ignoring cospeeps and sorry if it felt that way. I got really sick the beginning of April and I am still recovering from it. I managed to stay out of the hospital, but my cosplay plans have suffered because of it. Poor excuse I know, but I just wanted to appologize if you felt ignored, just trying to get better, stay on top of life and handle all that is this department. It looks to be a banner year of gatherings if it goes as planned which translates to lots of work!
