As Seen On TV
« on: April 13, 2010, 07:31:26 PM »

With the constant influx of weird products made available to us via TV I thought it was about time we dedicate a thread to the weird stuff they're trying to sell us.  (Let me know if this has been done before).  Post your favorite / least favorite As Seen On TV products here.

The EZCracker Egg Cracking device is my new favorite.

My favorite would be the Magic Bullet, I only use it to make custom drinks or shakes. ^_^

Least favorite is the Water Jet.

It is perhaps Billy Mays' last infomercial, and the Jupiter Jack is for the safety of the driver while talking on the phone while driving on the

road. It is also the benefit of not getting a ticket from local and state law enforcements. *COUGH* *COUGH*

Smooth Away is my ENEMY! I bought it at the "As seen on TV" store and it took off NONE of my leg hair no matter how hard I tried! I tried rubbing softer, and harder, and washing my legs and not washing my legs, no matter what the circumstances, that product did not work!!!

I've had good luck with Smooth Away.  You have to make sure you do circular scrubbing and it's better if you do it fast.  The only problem is your hair grows back a LOT faster than with shaving.   (Sorry probably TMI)

the dog snuggies D:
we actually broke down and bought a big pack of shamwows from costco and a regular snuggie > o >
the shamwows work good and i dunno if its me = _ = but the snuggie is a lot warmer when you put your arms in the sleeves instead of just using it as a blanket
hgnn we saw the giant rack of "as seen on tv" stuff and target and danced around shaking the stuff

hokay :3 *goes to watch*

(update for an as seen on tv product that ive bought)

the shake weight
the big thing that bugs me about it is..
> . > it like simulates the motion of jacking off a male its disturbing ~ . ~ (sorry if that's too inapropriate  D:!!)

but it does do its job and gives a good workout my arms look a lot better so *shrugs* if you decide to get one never use it in front of perverted people or anyone in general :3 plus the music on the exercise dvd that comes with it sounds like it was reused from an old porn video x  x or maybe that's just me
its not battery operated you actually have to shake it too so i say buy it if you really want to work out your arms
