i went for the meeting of new ppl and possibly new friends
my boyfriend has no real interest in big conventions soley dedicated to anime
granted, he likes anime, but he wouldn't come to somethign like this of his own free will

Awesome :D I'm sure though if I will stick with CS though. I really want to focus in on 3D animation (reason above), but then I feel I have more options with going CS. I would at least think. Hmmm... I need to decide this soon D:

I didn't want to go this year, because I wasn't sure how good it would be.

#1  How would you all rate the Speed Dating? Would you recommend me going next year?

#2 Next time you should have the GIRLS wait outside, while GUYS at the table. Why? It's because of my Psychology Today or Scientific American Mind Magazine said that GIRLS are LESS PICKY when they are the ones MOVING from TABLE TO TABLE.  Just thought you might want to increase those chances of success for next year. ^_^   If you want I can go digging around for the article about it.

out of a scale of 10, id put it at a 8 or 9
the only reason i say that with a lower score is cuz this was the first time
and they need to change some of the tactics and stuff

it didn't matter about the whole picky thing
we had numbers and we sat at particular numbers (the girls i mean)
and the guys had letters and at first they sat at a particular letter
and than they rotated in order
there was no picky-ness of the tables and stuff
they moved in order of the rotation

You totally missed what I was trying to get across.

What I meant was: When it's the guys moving from table to table, Girls are LESS LIKELY to pick ANY guy to date/give their e-mail to/etc.

When it's the GIRLS moving from table to table, they are MORE LIKELY to give out their e-mail/choose a guy to date/etc.

Boys sit + Girls Move = Higher % Chance girls will find a guy they like. (Better Dating Odds)
Girls sit + Boys Move = Lower % Chance girls will find a guy they like. (Lower Dating Odds)
