Oh, my friend who was going as the card is now going as the duchess. We finally drew up some designs.

We now have a Door Mouse, Alice, Dutches, and (maybe) a Cheshire Cat. All of them based off of the original Alice in Wonderland with a steampunky twist. ^^
I'm trying to get a White Rabbit right now. Still following the Gender-bend theme but only because I can't seem to find any guys... >.>

Yup! I can't wait! Everything is coming along fine so far... I do still need a slave friend to sew all of the costumes though.

Thanks so much. I feel so much better minus the constant coughing :) I also have been busy with auditions for a play at my school called Sleeping Beauty And The Beast. I really hope I get a part xD I got my gatherings under control finally xD so I have time to mess around.

I'm going as Lirin (Saiyuki), Italy (Hetalia), and maybe Grell (Kuroshitsuji "Black Butler") if I'm not dirt poor after those. What are the others that you're cosplaying?

Cool :D And I'm being Blossom(Powerpuff girls(the actual cartoon one, not the anime xD) xD I'm getting a group(If I can find a Buttercup and Butch.) Mostly by my side would be my Brick :D), then Espeon (From Pokemon. a Lolitaish form.) and then this one. xD I have some other ideas just in case, but those are the main three, since I mostly only go to Fanime 3 days. but since I dont have school that friday(or at least I dont think), I may squeeze in another XD Not sure what yet.

Sometimes xD Depend on how hard the costume is. I'm not that great at sewing, so Sometimes my mom will buy me cosplay. Other times I just buy things that look just like it and modify it to make it the cosplay. Thats what I'm doing for Blossom. A pink dress, black belt, and so on. I suck at sewing unless its stuffed animals or stitching things up. XD

I see. I'm the same. I normally buy my cosplays in pieces only getting the complicated parts custom made. Since most of the cosplays for my version of Wonderland are so unique (not Alice's so much) we have to get most of our stuff custom made. I only need a jacket though so... mine should be less expensive to have made.... or so I'm hoping. lol It kinda sucks when you can't sew your own stuff but it just shows how determined we are!

YES :D And besides, No matter if you make or buy your cosplay, It doesn't matter ^_^ As long as you have fun showing it off xD Thats the whole point to me xD I'm trying to learn to sew, but for now I'm just buying things that look like something and modifying it xD

That's what I'm doing for the rest of my cosplay. ^^ Though, I do have a friend that I may be able to get to sew one of my costumes.... that would be freakin' awesome!
