(Sorry for this 2nd Post)

Today Nabeshin (Shinichi Watanabe) the Director of Excel Saga and other anime is wondering on his Facebook why USA conventions have not invited him for this year.

Is there a way for Fanime Guest Relations Staffing to invite him over to Fanime Con 2011?  I already met him at last years Anime Expo 2010 and he is a very nice and funny guy when I got to know him at their meet the guest reception.

Just a suggestion if Fanime Con 2011 can pull off this miracle as I want other fans to enjoy his company.

Vic Mignogna for sure, I sent him an email last year about fanime and he told me:

"I would love to come to Fanime, Viv... but they would need to bring me as a guest. Perhaps you and your anime friends could write the staff and request that they have me as a guest someday!

I'll hope to see you there!

vic"

:'( so it would be so cool if he could come... he wants to ;__;

oh man I totally want him to come but the time i wanted to him to come he had to goto the cons that take place at the same time as fanime ._.

Well it looks like Vic is already booked for Phoenix ComicCon which takes place the same weekend Fanime is happening according to his fanclub site.

I'd like to see a couple of guests this year (hopefully) so I do hope the staff can take the time to look at these suggestions.

Travis Willingham: A very well known VA to many anime and videogame fans alike. He's probably most famous for his role as Colonel Roy Mustang in Fullmetal Alchemist (as well as Brotherhood) He's also starred in other roles as well, such as Mori from Ouran Host Club, Kojuro Katakura in Sengoku Basara Samurai Heroes, and even the dry-witted diagnostician Gabriel Cunningham from Atlus' Trauma Team. It would truly be an honor for me to meet him in person this year at Fanime 2011.

He can be contacted via this website: http://www.traviswillingham.com/

Yuri Lowenthal:
I've seen him in a lot of videogames, probably he's best known as Derek Stiles' voice in Trauma Center New Blood (he's appeared in the other games of that series but he really brings Derek to life in this particular one) He's also known as the voices of Little Guy in Trauma Team and Luc Rousseau in Trauma Center New Blood.

He can be contacted through this website: http://www.yurilowenthal.com/

Tara Platt: (she happens to be married to Yuri if I'm correct in this...) she's played many videogame roles as well as anime ones and it'd be quite the honor to meet her this year if possible. She provided the voices of Raine Sage from Tales of Symphonia as well as Valerie Blaylock from Trauma Center New Blood

She can be contacted here: http://www.taraplatt.com/home.html

"Check it out, RONI--It's three sevens!" -Dr. Gabriel Cunningham (Trauma Team)

Yuri Lowenthal is super fun to hang out with. I did work with him for a while and it was actually pretty entertaining. As far as US guests, he's probably the only person I would say that I really really enjoyed working with.

I've heard many positive things about him. He must be one of those down-to-earth VAs, huh? :)

Most Impressive.

If we can't get Vic to come can we get Uncle Yo!?

saphy

omg u guys should get miyavi or lm.c ... again haha or something from naruto like the voice of them hahah ;D THAT WOULD BE PERFECTTTTTT :"D

cottoncandymuffin

miyavi came here in june last year so I'm not sure if he'll be back again so soon, but either miyavi, lm.c or both would be awesome to have back!!! ^_^

maybe some voice actors/manga artists would be cool (not sure if we can actually get manga artists over here though)

InsaneChan

Manga Artists: ANY!! Lol. Actually, recently some overseas fans sent a big birthday album to Yana Toboso (Black Butler/Kuroshitsuji). She liked it so much, she wrote about it in her blog! However, somewhat disturbing, she mentioned that she was surprised there were any overseas fans at all--she didn't even know her work was popular outside of Japan! To quote her exact words when talking about receiving the fan album:

"For the first time I actually realized that even overseas there are people who love my work. I do know that it's been published in other countries as well, but yeah, I suddenly realized that people are actually reading it!"

Anyways, one small hope of mine is that a huge con like Fanime will invite her over, so that she can fully understand just how popular her manga really is over here! ^____^

Ahem, that aside...

I'd also love to see manga artists:

Kiyohiko Azuma
Matsuri Hino
Hatori Bisco <3
Kazune Kawahara

As far as VA's go, I'd love to meet Steve Blum!

Love. Life. fANIME.

Kupo

Steven Blum, LittleKuriboh, Kroze, TeamFourStar (or Takahata101 if you can only get one. I believe he plays Nappa in the abridged series.)

That's all I can think off the top of my head.

Ryuko Akari

There's been one person I've always wanted to see come to Fanime, and that's Patrick Seitz. He's both a director and voice actor, who most recently was cast as Germany in Hetalia, but he also directed and voiced Wolfgang Grimmer in Monster. You can probably contact him through his website here:

http://www.patrickseitz.com/

It would be wonderful if he could come!

GodivaSyndrome

If I could have absolutely anyone come to Fanime, I would probably choose mangka Nobuyuki Fukumoto. I know he was a guest at a Finnish con not too long ago, but I don't know how hard it would be to get him out here. His work is definitely popular amongst those who look past (or even grow to love) his unconventional drawing style. Plus, the second season of the Kaiji anime was recently announced for April, so he is relevant (so are the VA's for that anime *wink wink nudge nudge*). Anyway, that is who I would want the most.

Haruka Tomatsu, or I will authorize 4th impact as someone once requested. ;D

InsaneChan

Just adding:

Little Kuriboh!

A bunch of people were asking him if he was attending "..." con in their city, and he replied to all saying, "If they invite me, I WILL GO."

So please, please invite him Fanime! He has more followers than he knows what to do with xD!

CLAMP. My friend is a big fan wants to meet them very badly.

Tsuchimi Rin-chan

I would 2nd Haruka Tomatsu or any of the voice actresses that did K-ON like Aki Toyosaki or Minako Kotobuki.  Better yet bring Sphere over and I would die very happy  ;D
