There's really no specific list. No alcohol or anything else illegal, but aside from that you may bring whatever you wish. :)

How are we doing on utensils and tea cups/sets? I'm bringing two pots of tea with tea light warmers (so no plugs ^_^), but not sure about the tea cups. And what kind of utensils would we need? I'd assume tea spoons, but do we need to have the full knife/fork/spoon deal?

Whoops! Many apologies, Riku - just changed it.

Thank you to everyone who has volunteered to bring things for the tea. As for utensils, most goodies that are brought have, in the past, been finger foods, thus napkins have been enough in terms of utensils. I will be bringing 12 tea cups with saucers, but that leaves us short by a dozen.

Right now I think we're set for drinks and it's good to see that people are offering to bring things other than dessert. :) Thank you once again for all of the volunteers!

I will definitely bring my strainer then and some loose leaf teas. I'd love to contribute food, but that's something I won't want to fly with. This is my first Fanime, are there any places around the con to get finger foods? Like a cafe or bakery? (not fast food obviously) Sorry for the possibly stupid question ^_^;;

From the looks of the guest list, this will be quite a tea party. Does anyone have a preference as to where we hold the tea?

I've decided to bring different types if tea with me along with scones to enhance the formal atmosphere. x3 I don't know what everyone likes but I'm hoping to bring a lot of tea packets.

I think we should have the tea party
close to the convention center, or
somewhere not far for me and my
friends to walk. Lol

I support the stereo idea as long as it's not a bother to you. :) As for the location of the gathering, I'm fine with whichever is decided.

I have a quick question. What size are the cups everyone's bringing, because I have the small espresso/tea cups, but I have 12 of them so will that be enough?

Well its going to be a HUGE gathering,
but people will already be bringing tea
sets and tea utincles for the cosplayers.
If 12 tea cups is all you have, I wouldn't
go overbored if I were you, and 12 tea
cups would be enough for people who
really want to drink tea.^^;

^_^ I think Chaos is bringing 12, so we'll have a total of 24. Btw, I'm only bringing one tea pot with a warmer. The other pot will need to have water heated, so we kinda need to figure out where our location is going to be, because that'll determine whether or not we can get water heated with relative ease.
