Arcade discussions go here, for eGaming suggestions, please go to this thread!

What do you guys want to see this year?  As before, there will not be an official list until On-campus releases it to us, but please, speculate and suggest away!  I'll try to fulfill whatever requests you have, and bring anything that doesn't show up myself.  We'd like this year to be above and beyond, and your ideas will help us do that!

I can comfortably say, realistically, won't happen.  It's not just not released here, but DLC only ):

I will however be bringing my personal Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code, ITG2 (+USB thumb drive support), DDR Extreme, and a newer Pop'n PCB for the con.  If not a machine, I'll also bring back my IIDX controller going back to stock turntable parts, official PCB NOT under the 2p TT overheating all the time, and a legit I/O.  Major disasters aside, that should help alleviate some of the call for updated games ^^

Awww..

Oh well those work too. How about Para Para Paradise or Raiden Fighters or something? And what about just BB:CS then?

Also Pump It Up

Hahahahaha, that's a given.  There'll probably be 4 setups again this year.

I'll bring Raiden Fighters/Jet, or at least Aces, an we can set it up somewhere.  They don't usually bring a lot of shmups or anything, though I was stoked to see Mushihimesama there last year <3

Uh... not Vanilla SF4, SSF4 AE is what he means. As far as I know, there's only 2 AE machines up in norcal.

More like 8. Two at each golfland, two at sjsu, and two at sfsu.

Careful when you say "Each Golfland."  Roseville Golfland doesn't have it at the moment.  =P

Poor poor soul, you don't know how Capcom does it's shitty arcade system distro for SSF4. You need TWO boards to run head to head. So yes, it may look like there's more, but in reality it's not that much. Good job Capcom for sapping the arcade industry of even more money they don't have.

Uh yes I do understand that you need two boards because they're separate cabinets. I do prefer it that way. Head to head is way better than standing next to someone who doesn't know the meaning of personal hygiene, or someone who likes to move like a crack addict while playing.

But if you only had one cabinet, you can't play two players on it, you need two individual boards, to perform like any other normal arcade machine.

Looks like the fighting game side is well-covered; maybe some brawlers (Gauntlet, Metal Slug, X-Men?) might be fun?

YES. I call Marge.

Hmmmm, well I don't have my cabinet anymore, but we have a board.  I'll definitely put it up with a list of requests to look at :3

in the past there has always been a cave shooter in the arcade (last year was um, mushihimesama? or was it espgaluda i can't remember) as long as there is one of these in the arcade (i don't care which one really, dodonpachi/mushihimesama/espgaluda/whatever) my partner and i will be happy. :)
