You can probably get good seats if you line up an hour or two before the concert starts.  We wouldn't want you to line up in the morning and wait all day long since you would be missing a lot of things that are going on at the convention.

After spending half a day waiting for it once before, I told myself "never again." I found getting a ground seat was very uncomfortable, since there was a wall of taller people just in front of me that really made it hard to see! Personally, I find it 10x more comfortable to sit cozy on the balcony; especially since it's really not that far from the stage and you can actually see everything.

There hasn't been a problem with space in the past...I'm pretty sure as long as you want to see it you'll be able to see it. :)

They didn't really have a rule for it, they just highly recommended that people didn't wait in line any more than two hours prior, since there are a million and one other things to enjoy at Fanime.

Unless...I wasn't aware that there was a rule? Didn't seem like anyone else was aware of it either, though.
