keiko.

I tried to upload my video, but stupidly didn't realize an hour long video won't upload on Youtube LOL. I also have some pictures on my blog: http://thisismyv.blogspot.com/2011/06/61-fanime-con-2011-yoshiki.html

I'll try to cut my video in two and upload both parts after work either today or tomorrow. ><

Also have to ask: Why was there so much confusion about the photography rules? The staff probably changed their positions at least 4 times! I'm glad in the end it was allowed, but to be honest I was expecting photography to be allowed in the first place since it's a panel. Was there a miscommunication or what...?

There was a bunch of factors that led to confusion, including past policies and how Yoshiki was feeling day-of. Generally speaking, musicians in Japan (or their management) are very picky about photos and appearances. Unfortunately I don't have much insight.

I am totally guessing here, but I think we simply asked Yoshiki what he preferred when he arrived, and he gave the go-ahead.

IVe talked to many PR people and really Japanese artists tend to not have their pictures taken like 80% of the time, unless they clear it or done professionally.

of course as much as they would love to limit it in America people do it anyway, which leads to events monitoring the use of electronics sometimes even banning them.

There are times when they don't care and are fine with it but you figure with Yoshiki now being American mainstream he will end up just letting people do so since its normal, I've had this happen before back with Dir en Grey they were banning and kicking out people who were taking pics or recording.

I have heard many stories about Yoshiki being mischievous, but he wants to try to please as many fans as possible but also wants to enjoy himself since hes hounded by fans 24/7.

He's got to get better for for his world tour and Comic con appearance

just found this post on japanator.....seems all the work and effort Yoshiki has been doing caught up with him.

He's stated on his twitter he is ok, but man poor guy tired, sick and over working himself

keiko.

^ Yeah, Yoshiki himself said he was suffering from anemia. They did an article about it on TokyoHive too. The man knows how to party... but like I've said, even Gods need to take a break once in a while. ;P

I've uploaded the first 2 parts from his panel on Youtube! I'll be uploading the rest later, I'm being lazy and it takes a long time haha.
