Believe it or not, San Jose also hosts FurCon (Further Confusion) once a year too at the Fairmont. Idk when it is but I remember seeing Sonic cosplays.

I've totally heard about FurCon -- never been but sounds so amazing! Have you been before? What's it like? PM if you want, it might easier.

I've been to FurCon a couple times, mostly to help my friend run demos in the game room. But if you are a furry, this is the place to be...*shudder*

this years theme seems to be medically inclined. Oh... the imagery... *Shudder once more*

A few highlights, the panels where they focus on the character and costume building are greatly informative. (IE; "How to Make your Furst Suit", "The Feline and you: So you want to be a cat")

I would stay away from the panels about the Ethics and treatment of animals and "Fursection" unless you want to see some of the whiniest people you've every heard rant for an hour.

Also, the parties at night are awesome. Go visit the Klingons. Just stay away from the "Softpaw Lounge". Really.
