Happily. Have we had any new recruits for Thursdays meet up? And are we still up in the air on a time for Friday?

i dont think we have any new ppl for thursday
and i havent seen a schedule yet so friday is still up in the air
altho ive seen ppl mention before like 7, or after 10..or somehwere in the middle
i know that u have speed dating and i have the karaoke contest
so u and i can work around our schedules but so far no ones said anything else yet

they have i think 2 friday slots, 2 saturday slots for the LGBT community, and i think 2 sunday slots

I recommend going to Cupertino or this place called Saigon Hong Kong Seafood for dim sum. Be warned! Some restaurants in Cupertino and the Saigon place have long lines!

I read there is a long line for people getting the ticket? When does ticket get pass out? When is a good time to go get tickets?

on thursday morning it's like Black Friday campers so DONT go there in the morning! It's just setting up/looking for your friends/people to meet up before the busy friday - saturday - sunday con hours. Perfect time would be thursday around late afternoon or evening to get your badge within 2 hours. The time would be typically 4-8pm to get your badge that you have pre-registered for, otherwise you have to go on friday to get it at-door.

Yeah, you'd have to go to Santa Clara and Cupertino for that, which is technically still San Jose.

Fanime actually used to be held at the Santa Clara convention center from 2000 to 2003.

Nope, still haven't picked a place to eat yet.
Personally, I don't think we will all be able to pick a place that everyone will be happy with, so I am thinking that I am just going to get some food on my own before the meet up and be snacking on it at the meet up spot.

usually plans never go accordingly beforehand so I bet during the actual hangout we'll all be able to agree upon a place. Now if only there was a shopping center that only consists of restaurants...haha
