So how come you couldn't find our plastic badges?

Did you guys give it to the wrong people?  Did you just lose it?  Did you just not make our badges?

And you told us to come back tomorrow.  Are you actually gonna try to find it through all those stacks?  Or are you planning on just making them again?

I'm genuinely curious about the process.

Give it to the wrong people? Nope. (At least this is 99% correct, although minor mistakes do happen, but we seriously doubt it).
Lose it? Possibly.*
Not make your badges? Possibly.*
Try to find it through the stacks? Nope.
Planning on making it again? Yes!

With the number of plastic badges that we have to make every year, there are numerous mistakes that can (and do) occur. Fortunately, our Registration staff is trained and have a backup plan in place for when these rare instances occur. I don't have the exact numbers, but I believe that fewer and fewer badges are being "lost". We won't stop until we have 100% success rate though! =)
