Fanime Characters

I wonder if the Fanime artists realize that there is a small almost-cult following of the Fanime characters. At least among me and my friends, that is.

My favorite character is Amber because my name is Amber and my favorite color is blue and I'm shy and I like cats. For Fanime 2012, I got super duper excited when my badge had Amber and my boyfriend's badge had Damien. ♥

Anyways, I just wanted to bring it up to let the Fanime artists know that their efforts are appreciated and to possibly let others know about this small part of Fanime culture. I can't wait to see the artwork for this year! ^^

I remember the staff meeting several years ago where we named the characters. We decided that the names were going to be A, B, C, D, and E, hanging out at F (FanimeCon). I think Candy and Elliott were my suggestions.

Every year since then, I'm always ecstatic whenever I see the characters banners hanging all around San Jose

Oh wow, I never noticed the thing with the letters! You just kinda blew my mind just now. ^^;

Whoa. I wasn't aware they were the same characters dressing up differently every year. I thought they were different designs and characters each year. I guess even within Fanime's art universe, you get cosplay. XD
