Hotel with badge

I am getting the Fairmont hotel. Since I am getting a room, doesn't that mean I get a vip badge? So I dont have to buy my own badge?

Badges are sold separately.... you still need a badge even though you're getting a room.

Incorrect. Hotel rooms and badges are separate. No matter what room, or lack thereof, you have reserved a Fanime badge is still required.

If you purchase your badge now you will get a nice, laminated, full color badge instead of the paper printout one you would get if you registered later.

I think you're thinking of Sac-Anime's policies. Fanime doesn't have VIP badges. There are laminated badges vs. paper badges, but the difference between those is when you register, and one doesn't give any more privileges than the other.
