A food inquiry for the locals - where to get?

Hey guys!

So some friends and I were wondering if there's any place near by the convention center that serves fried pickles! None of us are from the area (surprise surprise), however, we want to share the amazingness that is fried pickles with another that's joining us this year~

So do any of you locals have any recommendations? We're well aware of the local food places posted throughout the forum, but thus far we've seen nothing about our beloved fried pickles~ ; ^;  Or hell, if you have any specific favorites that you'd recommend to outsiders - my friends and I love food, ha ha!

Love fried pickles!  Looks like the Chef Counter is within walking distance, too!  I'm going to try them out if I get a chance.  (first time I had these was in an airport cafe in Altoona, PA)
