I only read volume 1.  Volumes 2 and 3 are sitting on the table.  No time to read them yet *__*  The first chapters of volume 1 started out the same as episodes 1 and 2 in the TV series.  After that, volume 1 skipped a few TV episodes.

At AX, I talked to two people who said there are two characters in the manga and not in the TV series which I have not verified.  My gut feeling is I don't think you are going to miss too much by watching the episodes on Adult Swim.

Now I'm anxious to read Volume 2 :lol:

yeah, i don't think much is missed between the anime and manga, though the chronology of events seem to be off by a year.  Then again, the anime and manga are like two different variations. There's stuff in the manga that doesn't appear in the anime, and vice-versa. there's also character changes, like wrath in the anime is not the same person as the manga wrath...

Well said XD  When I read volume 1, some of the variations on the manga should have been on the TV series because the manga simply was better  :)

no, i distinctly remember ed looking at how envy seems to be very heavy despite his size. (if you look in the manga, you'll see how his feet seem to rest heavier on the ground and he bends bars and stuff when he lands on them)

arg, gotta find that scan for you...
