I use Suave Rave 4X Mega Unscented hairspray for my wig.  Apply throughout the wig and the hold is good.

Another choice is Aqua Net.  It's a well known choice and is a very strong hold.

From what I heard, add the shoes and his antenna, he's 5'3". Without them, he's 4'11". (and I believe this is official)
