Volunteer??

This is my first time going to Fanime, so I don't know much about it. But how can I volunteer? What is that process for volunteering and such??

There are two basic ways of Volunteering for Fanime. Either you can join staff (not to late at this time) or you can volunteer hours during the con.

With staffing you don't have to pay for your badge and you can get discounted room rates. The catches are you have to work 24 hrs total over the length of the con, and you can only room with other staff members.

With volunteering you pay for your badge and work hours during the con. Depending on how many hours you work you can get part or all of your badge cost back. Catch is you don't get the money back at the con and you don't qualify for staff hotel rooms.

If you are interested in staffing the next meeting is 3pm in the Marriott on the 25th.
