Upgrading passes

So I bought a day pass, but I want to upgrade it. Do I have to upgrade it on the day that I bought it or can I come back a different day to upgrade it? And can I upgrade it at either clockwork alchemy or Fanime?

Walk to the registration area and ask. Unfortunately not many staff members are checking forums currently as we are all busy with our events.
