Artist Alley Cancellation?

I just called Fanime housing staff today and apparently the Artist Alley has been cancelled? They told me they couldn't give me any more information. This is really disappointing.

FanimeCon housing is taken care of by CMR, and they only have authority regarding housing. I suggest keeping an eye on the FanimeCon website, Twitter, and Facebook accounts for official information about other aspects of the con.

Or, you know, this could be another instance of confusing the "Art Gallery" with "Artist's Alley."

I really hope so, but I'm curious when they announced Artist Alley last year? I saw some people saying it would be open today.
