Team Fortress 2 Gathering 2026

Hey everyone, this is my first time going through the cosplay gathering process at Fanime, so pls let me know if there's anything I should be doing differently or to make the process smoother! We have a small group of people interested in a TF2 cosplay meetup and were hoping that getting a spot in the program will help us meet some new folks :)

1. Name of the Gathering: Team Fortress 2

2. This gathering includes: characters from TF2 and spin-offs/fan works related to the game, like Emesis Blue. Also open to seeing characters from other Valve games!

3. Time, Meeting spot/location: we are now tentatively scheduled for 4 pm sunday at g9 (snake statue)! 🥳

4. Legal Statement: FanimeCon will be taking group pictures during the Gathering/Event this year. If you do not want to be included in those pictures please step aside for those photos. By remaining with the group when the pictures are being taken you give your consent to be photographed.

5. Possible photo list ideas (definitely want to refine this as we get closer): Individuals of each class (9 total); group photos by class type (support, offense, defense); popular ships/pairings (heavy x medic, boots and bombs, etc.); side/comic characters (individuals and groups); spin-off and fan work characters (Emesis Blue characters, etc.); one big group photo!

Again, I've never hosted an official meetup at Fanime so if anyone is interested in this or has any tips/ideas to help us out, please reach out! :)
