Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's begins!

Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha A's is coming out this year. It will be a sequel featuring Fate and Nanoha, who are both friends and comrades in arms to fight the evil of the city.

Or so the story might go, says a summarization of the info given at nanoha.com. There are also new characters, such as a girl in a wheelchair, dubbed a "heroine", and a perhaps evil group called the Wolkenlitter.

I enjoyed Lyrical Nanoha's first season, so this is pretty good news to me.

You, sir, have impeccable taste in anime. XD I'm looking forward to this one too. The first series was a very well contrived and dramatic series. Probably what I like most about the series is that they managed to infuse the normally cute magical girl genre with a good dose of coolness.

Nanoha and Fate are getting slight modifications to their battle outfits. XD Nanoha has a two-piece shirt & skirt combo instead of a dress under her sailor top. She also has cooler sleaves and I think I can make out finger-less gloves. Fate gains metal gauntlets. And that's all I can make out from the top image. Oh, and Arf is back and all young and cute-like. XD

Evidentally the raw is out for episode one, and being the flagrant fanboy I am I'll probably get it (even though I can't understand most phrases).

Wait... when I first read this, I thought you were talking about a sequel to Nana 6/17. Well, I guess even if it isn't, I should pay a look at the anime! lol Nana 12/34!

Dude, the fighting is the best part of the series. It's always so well correographed. They didn't have enough in the first series. =P

I will watch the 1st season one of these days before I start watching the 2nd season. I haven't been in the mahou shoujo mood as of late, but this might change things. :D

Watch it, Ryu. It's really good stuff. For that matter, everyone check it out. It's not your typical mahou shoujo series. It has a broader range of appeal that I can see appealing to younger/older male/female viewers alike.
