Dead or Alive Cosplay

I'll be joining in on taking pics, but also on the subject on the DOA Females costumes, lets also not forget about alternative outfits....which most of them aren't as revealing as most of their outfits! ^^ I don't mind the skimpy outfits, but as long as they're well made as well! ^^

I'd cosplay as a DOA character, maybe Ein as a ninja, but i'm already set for Vergil from DMC3 and possibly Shin Akuma from Street Fighter for Fanime. Dunno if i'll have my moogle hat on for them, but for 07', I might consider bieng a couple ninjas....i'm setting myself up to be Edge for Final Fantasy IV for 07' sooooo...maybe i'll be Ein for 07'! ^^

anyways this past year i cosplayed as Lei Fang, and i might do so next year. Probably the same one, unless i see pictures of her in xbox 360 but i guess i'll see.

Hey everyone,

I'm new to the forums here since I mainly post on cosplay.com (I'm a moderator there) and I've been organizing the Dead or Alive gatherings in 2005 at cons like AnimeOverdose, Fanimecon, AnimeExpo, Otakon, Nan Desu Kan, and AniMagic.  So I've taken my share of pictures, and had fun cosplaying as Jann Lee alongside a lot of DOA cosplayers throughout the US.  For Fanimecon, here's a few pictures:

If I cosplay Jann Lee again at Fanimecon, it might be a different one than the one I've worn this year, but I'll see what costumes he wears in DOA4 and see if I'll make a new one or just stick to my costume #1 version.

I'll make the thread on cosplay.com for it when Fanimecon draws closer, since there's still lots of time to plan the gathering, but I'll probably be in the one at Fanimecon 2006. :)

yeah it's really too soon to be making the details of who will be going as who and etc. for the DOA gathering, or for that matter any gathering for fanime, because it's so far away, and a lot happens/changes, so it's probably best not to do that just yet.

This year, I shall have more than enough room to take more than 250 pics in my camera...maybe for 3X as much! ^__^

Moogleborg: Thanks for liking the pictures!  It's tough when you cosplay & organize gatherings, as you are committed to doing that and you miss cosplayers if you're trying to get their picture.  (For the DOA gathering at AX, I missed 3 other different gatherings ah the same time..)  :oops:  But for Fanimecon next year I probably won't cosplay save for DOA, so that'll let me concentrate on taking more pictures during the weekend. :)

heehee yay! mew! >^.^< that would be cool. as for other costumes.. uhh.. oh yeah I did Tifa from FFAC but i didn't wear it all day because something happened in the middle. eheheh.... oh and i was going to do momiji but i didn't finish in time sooo i just dressed up as some random clothing.

Fanime's still a ways to go, so please take care of that dress (and yourself) until the con arrives. :)  We'll besure to take fighting-poses this time, and I don't mean just the co-operation pictures but the actual ones where we're FIGHTING each other. ;)  After all, J-Lee & L-Fang are rivals.. haha
