But please just here me out..heh heh, wow I might get some nasties for posting this here and I really hope not, but I'm mostly posting it with a question I have for the series. I, um, am allowed to do that right? ^-^'' Ok, I'll just wait and see if I get removed, deleted, flames of whatever first, or if I get anybody who knows the series well enough to help before I keep going.

Sorry for sounding annoying. ^-^''

Ok, because you answered ( thank you ) here I go...

In book 2 of Here is GreenWood, chapter 3 ( titled, The Japanese Summer is Here ) the basic little story arc is to just be humorous and tell how hot it is, etc. etc. Now..hm..I should probably start from the beginning...

The chapter right before this one is titles Boy meets Boy and goes to tell the cute little story of the *only* couple currently residing in the all boys school. Fujikake and Watanabe. True, they are secondary characters, and really...not all that important to the plot ( but their my favorite characters which is why this is bothering me so ) but something in chapter 3 caught my eye and it won't leave me alone.

On page 118 of book 2 ( see, I'm trying to make it les confusing for you ) in the upper right hand corner there is a picture of room 117 with it's door closed. Room 117 happens to be the room of Fujikake and Watanabe, and all the boys are wondering how they can stand to have the door closed in such heat. Now normally I'd dismiss it as being a 'well YOU know what their doing in there' type of situation, HOWEVER, in a little word bubble spoken by the other boys, it is mentioned that ( and I quote ) 'It's Fujikake and Kumamoto, huh?' and ' Watanabe is in Hokkaido, right?'

Phew, now does anyone understand what I'm asking? Why would the door be closed if Watanabe isn't there? Kumamoto, I don't know...is that a name of someone? And if it is, well, it really didn't explain much now did it? Because if one were to have read the manga, it's quite obvious just how shy Fujikake is, and the idea of cheating is ridiculous.

Ok, before I go further, I just want to let you all know, I am NOT obssessed, just a little, um...annoyed by this. I doubt anyone else really cares as much as I do since this manag doesn't seem all too popular anyhow and these are such minor characters, but I'm hoping! Now, if my explanation was too confusing, just tell me and I'll try to clear it up. ^-^ Hope you can help and don't think I'm a weirdo. :)

It might be a translation thingee.  On page 83 of book two, there's a note that Fujikake's family has mikan groves in the Kumamoto prefecture in the southern island of Kyushu.  Maybe the reference to Kumamoto was a reference to where Fujikake was from.  Perhaps Watanabe is from Hokkaido?

I'm pretty sure Fujikake is not cheating on Watanabe.  I have the original manga translation but I'm not very clear on the wording, sorry.
Life is too important to take seriously.  Seriously.

You're right! It does say that he is from Kumamoto, and yes, I've also read somewhere else that Watanabe is from Hokkaido. Thank you so much! Because if Kumamoto is a place, then it's very possible it was just a bad translation or a typo or something.

Lol, I was so intense of reading it over looking for a NAME I didn't even bother reading over that chapter and didn't realize it was a PLACE.

Thank you!! ^-^ *You get a cookie*
