2015 B's Final Shonen Jump Gathering

Hey, can someone verify whether GetBackers is a Shonen Jump title?  I've tried searching but get conflicting information, sorries!

In my current research I have uncovered that Weekly Shonen Magazine carried titiles such as Fairy Tail & Get Backers. This is not the same as the Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine, who later took over as the # 1 weekly magazine, which carries the titles I have listed. There are times that I miss a few, and I am looking to bring about a new gathering next year which will incorporate many titles such as Air Gear, Get Backers, & Cromartie High School to name a few. So next year look for the Beat, Jump, & Shonen Weekly gatherings. I like group gatherings that incorporate many different titles through the years because it allows many cosplayers the opportunity to be a part of a large similar gathering while being distinctive with their individual costume.

Well Jump Peeps! Are you ready for FANIME! I mentioned a while back that I was working on a surprise for all of you. I wanted to let you all know that as of right now... my surprise is a GO! I'm NOT gonna tell you because I want all of you to show up in costume and PLEASE talk to any other Jump Cospeeps during con and have them come to the Jump gathering too!

As Fanime forum & Cosplay.com forum members who have made it a point to post on this thread, are planning to represent your favorite Jump graphic novel/manga in costume during the gathering and many of you are returning Jump peeps I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted to say Arigato, or thank you. By what I currently have on the list the numbers surpass the previous years... the number of titles to be represented has increased... and this gathering has developed a loyal following that Star Geno, Youko Kurama and I are very happy to see. It is because of you that I worked on my Extra Special Surprise and if all goes well I think you will be pleased. Thank you so much for your support and I look forward to seeing you at the gathering.

Pray that "B's" Surprise happens... to much time between now and Sunday ")

So, did those of you who made the gathering enjoy my "Surprise"? I sure hope you did! I just wanted to say thank you to all of you who showed up to represent their favorite Jump title. I know that Viz will be using the pictures in different areas. I believe that they were looking to put the group photo in the Japan weekly Shonen Jump and I know that they were happy with the large group that turned out.

Next year.... can someone bring a mega phone???? :P

If any of you went to the Shojo Beat gathering then you should also know that both Viz media & Shojo Beat Magazine will be using the photos.

If I find out where to find their photos I will post it on the threads for those of you who came to either Jump or Beat to find.

what an awesome surprise you had planned for us, B! the raffle AND having Viz there was just awesome. I wish you had been able to contact me earlier, you could have used my megaphone that i had for the Bleach gathering D: if you want me to bring it for next year let me know and you are more than welcome to use it :)
i hope we're able to find the photos Viz took, i'd love to see them. guess ill have to check out the bookstore in Japantown for their copies of Weekly Shonen Jump in the future to find them XD ill definitely be making a return to the gathering next year. Thanks for organizing it B! :D

Indeed that was a great awesome unbelievable surprise you gave us at the Jump and Beat gatherings!  I'm definitely gonna be at both next year.  The challenge now is to find more cosplayers from other Jump and Beat titles.  More representation!! Yay!!
