Quote from: "sheikfreak"a romantic or action-packed story that includes one or all of the following:

hot springs
watermelons on the beach
exploding chibis
pervy old men
mysterious strangers

Sorry...I didn't get enough sleep to be more inspired or original than that :?
COUGHRanma½COUGH
...all except the exploding Chibis.
Haven't been here much since '09. I said some stupid, stupid things before (and after) that.

You, my friend, are a fscking GENIOUS.

You'll think I am when you see the actual list. Here we go:

The Cliché Anime Drinking Game

v0.4 beta by Cyprian "Spiritsnare" Clarus
based partially on the original Clichénime Scale by mDuo13
in turn inspired by Lord Raglan's Hero Scale.

This whole guide is meant to be tongue-in-cheek. Still offended? Don't read any further.

-=-

Take a sip if the heroines are 'highlighted' in the OP.
Take a sip if the heroines' names are shown.
Take a chug if the OP ends with a group shot of all of the heroines.
Take another if the protagonist is in the same picture.
Repeat with the ED.

Take a sip if the protagonist is training/working/studying and living alone.

Take a sip if one of the heroines is severely underdressed girl.

Take a sip if one of the heroines meets him under supernatural circumstances (such as falling out of the sky).
Take another sip if he takes her home, or, she follows him home.
Chug the whole bottle if there are parental units in the house and they are *perfectly okay with it* (e.g. Makoto Sawatari from Kanon).

Take a sip if they begin to fall in love.
Take a gulp if more than one heroine sleeps under the same house per night.
If all of the heroines sleep under the same house (e.g. Love Hina, Negima), down a sixer.

Take a gulp per non-human heroine. (Try watching Utawarerumono with this sucker!)
Take a gulp if demons, thugs, or other baddies show up to capture her.
Take a sip if she has special powers.
Take another sip if they're offensive.
Take another sip if she uses them. If she uses them *specifically to save the protagonist from certain death*, chug the whole bottle instead.
If the protagonist has special powers and he uses said powers to save a heroine, take a chug.
If he saves more than one heroine, take x chugs, where x is the number of heroines saved. If x is equal to the number of heroines in the whole story, down a sixer.

Take a sip if all of the girls fall in love with the boy.
Take a chug if even the girl(s) who are significantly younger than him have a crush on the boy.
Down a sixer if the main heroine is significantly younger than the protagonist.

Take a sip if the series takes place in the summer.
Take another sip if the series is based off of a visual novel/AVG. (Notable examples are Kanon, To Heart, and Fate/Stay Night.)

Take a sip for each of the following shown in an episode:
- chores & cooking
- attending summer festivals
- going to the beach
- going to hot springs ('onsen')
- someone doing something uncommon for the protagonist

Take a chug if the protagonist mentions pornography at any time.

Take a sip for every time the anime forces fanservice on you. (Want to get drunk? Watch Soul Link or Negima!)

Chug a bottle if the protagonist had met one of the heroines at a younger age, but has no solid family tie to that person. (For example, while watching Kanon, you don't chug on Nayuki, but you chug on Ayu and Mai. Makoto doesn't count, as she was in a different form at the time protagonist Yuuichi met her.)

Chug a bottle if the protagonist becomes emo (definition: depressed).
Chug another if the protagonist becomes emo because of a heroine.

Chug a bottle if there are twins involved and both are heroines.
Take a chug if all of the heroines' eye colors are different.
Take a chug if all of the heroines' hair colors are different.
Take another if the more than one heroine has a hair color that just doesn't exist naturally (without reason).

Down a sixer if there isn't another male character who knows at least two of the heroines.
Down a sixer for every extra season (26 eps) of the anime.
