the REAL reason why we need amano at fanime. <3

i mean, imagine if you walked into music fest, and you saw *that* level of insanity. <3

hmm.. smoking has really taken a toll on her voice. ._. her live performances are usually better than that one~~

I really wish we had a larger webcomic presence at fanime. Seems like fanime isn't friendly towards webcomic artists (or so I heard) Snafu-Dave was an awesome guest and I think he ended up doing 4 panels in total. I'd love for fanime to bring over Bleedman as his art is awesome. Can we somehow get Megatokyo back here to fanime? PLEASE?!? Ian from machall is now in the bay, can we bring him as well?

As I said in a older post, id love to ask the Snafu guys back.  Dave and his crew were great.  Again, I took the suggestions back in the panel one on webcomics to heart and will work on it.  =}

I'd like to see Synectics or even Dacco or Isabelle either one of the synectics band.  Mana, I'm going to see in about a month so I'm happy with that.  Asian Kung-fu Generation, FLOW or hell M-Flo.  But I rather see Dacco or Isabelle :P

It's doable, but we'd like to expand our horizons and give other bands a chance to showcase their stuff. Afterall, if we just brought back camino and ZZ this year, you wouldn't have seen mothercoat or Swinging Popsicle!

Fred Gallagher expressed his disinterest in attending further west coast conventions. He reassured us that he will only attend the cons on the east coast after having to shuffle his things across the country. Can't say I blame him.

Okay so that last one is a bit of a stretch...

oh yeah, big stretch , you have to go through like 9823465091823465902786 people to get to him XD
i talked to the girl at the jpophouse booth and she said that would probably never happen.
even if he does own a place in LA all he does in America is Dear concerts (>.> Damn them all... XD)
personally i don't think he would cause he wouldn't be able to have a big enough concert =/ (ever see his lives? XD)

Great. Tony saw that I was reading this thread and now he's researching bands for next year's MusicFest. Instead of writing his 10 page paper that's due tomorrow. Rawr.

One thing to note, Gackt does pretty much whatever he wants.  If something strikes his fancy, he will do it regardless of what is involved.  As far as production, I have seen bits of some of his non broadcast shows and his Asia gigs.  He, like most big production acts, has a scaled down stage for different venues.  Even within japan, not all venues are the Tokyo Dome.  Its actually more likely that if he ever did something up here it would actually be a smaller show like his Dears shows.

I still really vote for Janne Da Arc.  They put on an electrifying show and have kick butt music.

That is all.

Repeated for great justice.

And no, not that American I've stuff. The one that's from overseas.

If not I've...

Horie Yui(This one is a self-explanatory...)
Noto Mamiko (I want to hear a live Karanui before I die. Nodoka [Negima], Enma Ai [Jigoku Shoujo])
Tamura Yukari (If not Nanoha [Nanoha], then Talim [Soul Calibur])
Mizuki Nana (Where's the love? Fate [Nanoha], Hinata [Naruto])
Shimizu Ai (Karen [Onegai Twins], Mikoto [Mai-Hime], Ren [DearS])

Just to name a few.

Quote from: "happysky"- Konami people.. =b (Naoki was mentioned earlier)

Please. No Naoki. We don't need to hear letternumberletter again. (I'd go to MusicFest for Red Zone, however -- SAY SPEED RAVE)

We need Tatsh, however. :D (And not just for Xepher, mind you. I personally think Sphere's a better song, because most of my adrenaline from Xepher comes from its corresponding video.)

Bands:

M.O.V.E
Porno Graffiti
L'arc-en-Siel wouldn't be bad either

Mangaka:
I hardly know that much,so anybody would work for me

Seiyuu:
Wataru Takagi
Tomokazu Seki
Masakazu Morita
Takehito Koyasu

Yeah, that's sort of my list. I wouldn't complain if none of them could come, but can at least ONE person come? Just one? Move would be my choice from bands, and Takehito Koyasu would be my seiyuu choice(If that's a stretch, then Wataru Takagi). Please?????

Someone buy me a PuchiPuchi Prease~

Umi

Mayu Shinjo - mangaka of Kaikan/Sensual Phrase

Ueda Yuuji - seiyuu, he's a little old school but he's been doing a lot of work lately too

Tsushimamire - band, because I'm such a big Tsushi fan and their music is awesome and the bassist rocks so hard

The Emeralds - band, these guys have have amazing energy and their music is great

Hayashibara Megumi has never been a guest at Fanime. She attended Anime America 1995.
