Fanime Trip Planning for 2007

Yus, I already want it to be next years Fanime. If I lived closer to San Jose, I'd want Fanime twice a year, but they don't quite have the money for that, so while we're waiting, lets pass the time by planning what we want to do different or new or even the same next year! <33 I'll start off.

I probably don't want to be on staff this year, I missed all the great parts of the con. Unless the change the shifts to three hours each which are easy to move around so I can hit all my favorites.

If I do staff, it's only going to be Asian Films Room 1. I've learned my lesson from the other two rooms. >___> Although not all the Korean Soaps were bad, but 6 hours of it can be tiring. O___o;;

I'll save up more money for a room with onlee me friends, so I don't get stuck with total strangers again. One whom was quite scary.... And will leave me with scars on my innocence.

I'll see musicfest again this year! <3 And hit all the Stage 1 shows which I didn't have the privelege of seeing.

But..maybe... I'll start a band and we'll perform in Music Fest! <3

I'll prepare more harajuku/gothic/bishi clothes.

I'll bring my laptop.

I'll take more pictures.

I'll go around San Jose MORE. Which was what we were planning to do this year, but we didn't end up doing it even after making a big fuss about how little time we planned to spend at the con. We just didn't think it was going to be that fun.

Next year when we sign up for Karaoke to sing "Woo Hoo" we'll force the staff into submission to play the track louder instead of needing to stand next to the speaker to barely hear it.

More money... Lots more money...

And less guilt about spending it...



I wish however Fanime had more harajuku/gothic stuff in the merchants room. We didn't know if there was a mall nearby so we stayed in the Dealer's room and all they had was fanboy stuff and manga and expensive food. It was lame. So more stuff please. <3

plans??? its a little bit early for those, but i already got a few...

-volunteer so i get a refund on my pass
-go to more panels
-try to secure a hotel room more than a day before the con
-have more cosplays planned
-bring a notebook and have people sign it throughout the con
-try to make some money during the con
-sing at karaeoke
-actually go to masquerade instead of hanging at stage zero almost the entire con
-try to become one of the hosts for stage zero next year

...damn, thats alot of stuff. i hope to see you all in '07. 8)

Make more random money. ((We made 13 dollars this year! Doing nothing but giving massages and running around with a sign that asked for money. xD))

Go to the fountain park with the quetzacoatl statue and lock someone in the coin operated bathroom stalls.

Plans for next year? Me and my friends have already started planning already too!
- Cosplay (I'm going as Hitsugaya Toushirou next year)
- Get a hotel room way ahead of time (Cause waiting will make those rates go up!_
- Bring Laptop (Being disconnected for more than 12 hours is tough stuff)
- Participate in a tournament in the E-Gaming room (I was too chicken this year, cause I haven't had time to play games in so long)
- Bring more pocky (I brought 6 boxes of pocky with me, and it still wasn't enough)
- Have a lot more money to spend (I went to the ATMs so many times, UGH)
- Not be shy and take more pictures (yeah, that's a personal problem)

Well, i don't really have all that many...

I want to have more time to work on my cosplay costumes (meaniung this year i am going to have more then one)

I want to get my Anime Club going strong so that we can all go to fanime & have fundraisers and stuff... all four day's with two hotel rooms for 3 nights... 0.0 gah that will be a lot of fundraisers.. but w/e...

so yeah,.... not a whole lot.. but big things...

*MAYBE not buy a day pass every day of the con ($8 a pass 0.o doesn't sound like much, but that's quite a bit for me!)
*BUY MORE THINGS (See point three). There was sooo much I wish I could'a bought, but... once again, low funds.

Plans:

-Cosplay(if possible)
-Join Staff again(if not Stamp Rally again, either E-gaming, Tabletop, Rovers, Con-Ops, or any department that's really understaffed, but has a share of perks)
-Get ahold of a laptop(so I can blog accurately for each day and upload pictures/videos as I take more and more without having to delete all those really long video files for extra space).
-Save up enough cash to last a while so that I don't have to call my parents to drive over to Downtown San Jose to bring more for me.
-Have everyone pay their hotel room share in advance when they arrive since we all know how all the interesting dealers love to take our money and leave us penniless for Sunday night.
-Attend Masquerade early so I can get a good seat.
-Plan the events I attend/staffing shifts accordingly so I don't miss out on an interesting event like the Gaia Online Gathering or Masquerade because of it.
-Make good use of the hotel room facilities.
-Bring food(and lots of it).
