What do you think of the 44th President, Barack Hussein Obama?
before I answer that, I have to get this out of my system: alot of people have made a big deal over his middle name being 'Hussein'; That is a bunch of crap, IMO. His middle name(or his whole name, in fact) is not important, but it is his actions that will matter. For those people making a big deal over his name, I say this: Shut the hell up.

Now for the question: There has never been this much excitement over a president since Bill Clinton took office, IIRC. He currently has the highest approval rating of any president so far(I may be wrong about that). Now what do I think about him? Not much, really. I am sure he will fix alot of things that have gone wrong in the past few years, and has made some good choices for his new cabinet, but right now he has to work his ass off to make that happen. His first six months in office will give a good description of how the next four years will be.

Also what did you think of his inaugural address if you caught it?
I was still asleep at that point, but I did manage to watch the vehicle procession to the white house, and am currently watching the parade right now.

(On my own note, it's the first time in a long time I felt hope for the U.S.)
Its been the first time in a long time for a lot of people, trust me. Its the first time that I have actually cared for a president and for this country's future.

what would be the most kick ass gift you could get this year?
I think you know that already, and that is still in the process of being earned.

Actually there's a secret gift(s) possibly in the works as well. So secret, I've swore my life or suffer the consequences of rabid ninja cats covered in black paint. (imagines the paws of paint) ???

Whats your 2 cents on some of the new SFIV characters?
Part of me says this their response to some of the new characters in Tekken 6, and another part says that since SF4 actually takes place between 2 and 3, it is a easy way to flesh out the roster. I can't really say much else regarding the new characters, since I have yet to play the game.

So. I read an article about games semi fighting with the 2nd hand market (i.e. Gamestop and etc) by fighting with Limited edition games (like Resident evil 5, and SFIV special uber editions)  and special DLC thats only available for (new) buyers via limited promo codes.

Question1: Do you think these limited editions are worth it?

Question2: Whats your 2 cents on companies trying to combat the used industry like that? :P

If the difference between the regular and limited editions is just a code for a special in-game item/weapon/character, then no(exceptions to the rule exist).

Limited/Special Editions have existed for a long time now, so I wouldn't exactly say they are combating the used industry with that, but I know what you are saying(the majority of EB/Gamestop/etc. revenue comes from the sale of used games/consoles).

Since people sell their games back to those types of stores, any money made from the resale of said games goes back to them, not the publisher/developer(since they already earned their money when the game was purchased the first time around brand new); I know it sucks, but that's how it is.

so it looks like in classic nintendo stride... apparently the Wii is re-releasing Gamecube games as Wii games with wii-mote+ nunchuck control scheme...

Ironically since you cant find NEW Gamecube games sold anywhere, I suppose this makes sense.

From my simple standpoint, I see it as an easy way for Nintendo to print some easy money; from another perspective, some of the games being re-released are a wee bit harder to find used right now, plus the new control scheme may drastically change the gameplay, depending on said game(Pikmin will probably benefit from this the most).

A) No, I did not see it, since I was stuck in LAX, waiting for a flight that got delayed 2 1/2 hours(I made it home just before midnight)
B) Its horrible, absolutely horrible; They should have just re-drawn the original intro instead of making massive changes to it.
