I've been trying to watch this series for as long as I can remember. When I watched a few trailers, I fell in love with it! I don't know why but I like when an anime has a guy who is hated by all the girls who are attracted to his best bud and then is starting to get close to all of them. Well, thats how I think of it now but since I don't know much about it I can't really say anything.

I guess I can't trust your opinion, because He Is My Master was the funniest damn show I've seen in ages. Incredibly wrong, yes, but that's half the fun.

As for Kono Mini (that's the short name for "This Ugly Yet Beautiful World" - it's an abbreviation of the Japanese name)... I saw the first ep and said, "Well, gee, that isn't cliché, is it?!" The animation seems fairly high quality, though... I intend to watch it some time when I get bored and am in a mood where I won't mind something kind of fanservicey. Because it's GAINAX. You know it is without even seeing how the first episode has naked girls (plural) falling out of the sky.

When I said "incredibly wrong" I was referring to the show's sense of humor. Whether or not I trust your opinion, I wouldn't judge it "wrong".

And I generally don't like fanservice, either. Once in a while I will watch a show and not mind it. He Is My Master was one such show.

Personally I think the series was under appreciated. Was there a lot of dialog, yeah but the series was mostly about personal relationships. I thought the art was well done and while there was more they could have done with the story it still was a good story. More could have and should have been done surrounding the whole ED tranformation thing but they decided to not make the monsters the focus of the story.

Take it for what it is. A cute, fun story about falling in love with Armageddon.

I loved it! I have the theme on my itunes ^_^ the first episode was the best though...and I really think there was too much hentai in it! But other than that...I liked it a lot

Nope. Not at all. For a second, I thought you said Kino's Journey was bad. Let's see... I'm not too big a fan of this series, and I did watch it through to give it a chance. Sadly, I don't remember much of this, but I do remember that I thought the plot had a poor ending. Something about... extermination of the human race. <---- Small to avoid spoiler. Sorry I couldn't be of much help.
