This may be an old game to some of you hardcore pc gamers out there, but if you haven't played this yet, then your missin out!!!!!!! Its a totally customizable fighting game where you can add more characters and stages. If you find the right places (or people), you can even get characters from your favorite animes like Rock Lee off Naruto and maybe even some Negima characters!!! I even found a "hentai" stage and even some "hentai" characters! For example, Hot Sakura, Sexy Mai, and a naked version of R.Mika!! I found that funny for some reason. Oh my GOD this game rocks even without those 'special' features!!!!!! If you want, you can see videos of people actually playing this game on youtube. just type in mugen in search and try to find some videos. I found a awesome funny vid of Shin Akuma of Street Fighter actually fighting Sasuke from Naruto!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Man, dem shi** be bangin yo!!

This game is crazy insane if you have beefed up 'versions' of some characters. Example, Insane Hiryu- a way waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyy WAY STRONGER and FASTER version of Strider Hiryu!!!!!

MUGEN is quite the wicked piece of software. I had a friend upload one of my old animated gifs to I think... Rose of SFA's voice data, but I don't know about the move set. He may still be working on it, lol.

Someone made Kurosaki Ichigo on MUGEN. That was interesting.

Some Japanese guy made the Ichigo. It looked pretty good and accurate, but I don't know where to download him from. :\

I love this game to death! But the thing I hate the most is fighting certain characters.

I hate to fight these characters:
some guy name Akumsa
Mizuki
Isaberu
Shinobi <-cheating B****H!!!
Evil Ryu
Dragon Claw
Sasuke
Naruto
and a few others that I'll have to think about.

Search it in google.com and i'm pretty sure that you'll find stuff there, make sure you don't confuse it with MUGEN (Honda Tuning stuff). or here just go to this forum... Mugen Guild
pretty much you can have anyone from some fighting game fight each other (ie Scorpion vs Mega Man)

there you go boss...

The thing about m.u.g.e.n. Is that most of the creation and such is quite sloppy. Moves are non-free flowing and powers aren't balanced at all (At least, not to a respectable console-like status), and more of the "power characters" have pretty stupid heavy moves on single keys.

If anything it's good for a diversion. Not for serious play.

Said 'customizability' makes MUGEN rather broken. That, and it's pretty difficult to fine-tune and balance all of the characters.

If you want to play something that's "customizable" and worth your time, work on something in RPG Maker 2000/2003/XP.

Ok, not the most broken characters, but it does show that not all characters are created equal

I agree. I was really excited about MUGEN for a while, but when I started sniffing around for places to download characters from...I discovered there arent really any good sites that cater to it. Theres about a million versions each of the more popular characters, and everything else is woefully underrepresented. Theres no "community standard" to anything, so youre essentially left to the whims of whoever's version of the character you happened to download (because you cant really do anything but download randomly, as theres no way to tell which versions are crap and theres to many to download and test each one individually.) You could end up with a Nakoruru who's light unarmed punch instakills everyone, or a Chun Li who's kikkroken is so fast it essentially autohits. For half a bar. And then you get into non fighting game characters....good luck finding a Goku that isnt COMPLETELY broken <_<

MUGEN is a fantastic idea, but its too much trouble to actually have any fun with. I'd rather just play Capcom VS SNK 2 or Melty Blood or Guilty Gear or IaMP or something like that.

yeah, it does seem a little broken but then if you only put characters that arent really cheap, it can also be a decent fighter. I was soooo into it but now its all about the true fighting games now, like Marvel vs. Capcom 2.
