Hrm, well I don't want to bring cookies, cuz it seems like people are already doing that. if you don't mind, maybe I can make bite sized sandwiches before the gathering, and maybe some other foods. I will get sick if I eat too much sweets.
I know for a fact, if I make it before I leave, the food will get messed up on the trip. I dunno if I will have any room for a small ice chest either.

Maybe, for those of us who are traveling far to get to the convention, we can all meet up at a specific time and make some small platters together for the picnic?

That'd be a good idea.
I know before the picnic I'll be going to the store to pick up last minute items, and then start setting up at least 30minutes before.
If you want I can make it avalible for us to work on making stuff around 11:30

We should have a seperate meeting/sign up for this. That and make sure we actually can meet. lol I know a lot of pre-reg'd people who will be meeting up on thursday when they go get their badges. I dunno about you, but I have only meet everyone here online...so I am sorta walking into this blindly. :) I will most likely be carrying a sign with my screen name on it for thursday. lol cuz I won't have anything to point me out to anyone. Aside from bags and bags of shi---er costumes.

I WOULD LOVE TO HELP YOU!!!! lol

I will be arriving in town on Thursday, to get my badge as well as meet up with roomates.
Maybe we could collect non parishable items, like utensils napkins etc, on thursday. So those that are bringing stuff won't have to lug it around and worry about people gnabbin' on it. Anything that doesn't need to be refridgerated right away, we could take too. We could make a list of what people brought, put it all away in a safe place, and it'd be ready for the gathering. (of course this doesn't mean people can skimp out on bringing food. The idea is having most of the food in one spot where we can keep an eye on it, and have it ready for the gathering without any hang ups.)

Also, the reason for us gathering the food and stuffs is that since you are in charge of the gathering...it's kind of your responsibility, that and make sure that those who brought food will be more likely to show up to get their food. lol There have been one too many times I threw a party, and people copped out the day of, and no one had any food. Don't want that to happen.

People can STILL bring food on that day (it is encouraged), especially if it's perishables or things that need to be eaten right away. Like sandwiches, for instance. I'd rather have more than enough, then nothing at all. Keep in mind that even though it's just us loli's, there will be plenty of people around us that will want to gnab food from us. *loads a shotgun* So, I incourage everyone to try to be there early or at least on time.

On the day of:
We could make little square sandwiches and prolly get some juice. Juice depending on our list of what we have. Though, we will still need people to bring stuff. (hence the 'bring food' sign up sheet)


Felicity: That's great that you live close by. We could always use more sandwiches.  ^-^ lol I'll leave that up to lizchan, she'll direct you lol.

I live in Stockton (1 hour south of Sacramento) so it's quite a trip going to fanime.
It would be a great help if you could make sandwiches.

Please bring your nonperishable items to me on Friday at 5pm at the starbucks. I will be holding them until the picnic on saturday.

It's infront of the Hilton towers where I'll be staying so I can gather them up and get them in my room easy.
