I really liked Kotomi's arc. And Tomoyo's is looking good too. Happy all over.

Post-ep-17: Things are looking interesting now. I like how it isn't developing quite according to standard galge pacing, with all the touches of past and future arcs in the middle of whatever storyline is ongoing, and that important things happen with many of the characters at once, so that you're not always sure which arc is in progress.

I feel kind of bad for Nagisa with the way Okazaki is getting close to other girls and not visiting her... but in the meantime, interesting things re:Ryou and Tomoyo.

P.S. Spiritsnare, there are more cameos to look forward to.

I found out there's a Mei+Yohei mini-arc in the game.  I'm tempted.  The Misae arc was actually kinda touching.  And man, I'm definitely hitting up the Yukine path. :3

I'm on episode 11.  I watched episode 9 and 10 in the cafeteria.  Episode 9 was unexpected.  Brilliant!  If I was watching at home, I'd be crying.

Hm. Four episodes left, and we're definitely in the midst of Nagisa's arc. Not that I don't like it, but does anyone else feel like Tomoyo's and Ryou's arcs barely got anywhere? Compared to previous Key series, I don't think they really developed much at all. Then again, who knows what can happen in the space of 4 episodes...

Also, Fuko's recent appearances have all been pretty hilarious.

Episode 18 pretty much hit home how the situation really went down between Kyou and Ryou. Sure, Ryou did have a crush on Tomoya, but you can tell by the reversal how Kyou was the objective in the twins meddling, not the other way around.

The ending speech in ep 22 was a bit... embarrassing, but I guess that kind of scenario is inevitable, huh. Another ep after this one...

On a slightly different note, the lack of replies in the Clannad cosplay gathering thread has left me in despair. Please don't tell me not many Clannad cosplayers will be attending. ;l

After watching ep 22, CLANNAD is pretty much done. I have to say, in the end, my favorite character is...

Furukawa Akio. He's cool, he's funny, and he's a better parent than anyone can truly ask for. From the beginning, he was always getting moments where I would think, "That's awesome!" but his speech at the end cemented it for me. So much caring, determined emotion packed... It was beautiful.

But really, all the characters had redeeming points of a sort. I guess, in the end, the story wasn't quite as heart-wrenching as AIR or Kanon, but it was very well conceived all around... I do feel like we barely got to see Tomoya's and Ryou's arcs, but so it goes. Maybe they'll make a Tomoyo After anime.

Episode 22 felt rushed. To be honest, if I could have it my way I'd rather have the story continuity of the festival moved up two episodes and finish up the Ryou and Kyou stuff beforehand (Though I haven't played the original game so I wouldn't know any better).

There wasn't enough Kyou insight in my opinion. She really didn't get a "true arc", just minor story breaks here and there because of her denial of her own feelings for the sake of Ryou.

Though the episode absolutely reminded me of what Dom said back on Megatokyo:

On top of her being damn cute,

"I'd marry Nagisa for her parents."

Late comer to Clannad.  Finished episode 14.  Brilliant.  An example of true friendship.  Series is getting much, much better ^__^
