Is this costume ok for Fanime?

I wanted to make the new outfit from God of War 2 where Kratos has chain wrapped around his armor. I dressed as Kratos at Anime Expo, and AOD with real chains wraped around my arms and security had no problem with it. I just wanted to ask if any moderator knows if I can have real chain wrapped around my armor and blades. Thank you for your help. This is a link to a photo.

I'm not a "moderator," but it looks okay to me, since it doesn't have any sharp edges. As long as you don't do something stupid (like try to choke/hit someone with the chains), they should be okay ^__^
