Oh, I see... Well, maybe you can ask your dad for such clothing, or some relative.  If not, surely you can make some time for it. If not, see if any of your friends can lend you clothing.

Lets say my friends arent the fan of cosplaying, plus my dad doesnt have anything but polo shirts x__x

Remember, im a deprived child... meaning:

1) Dont know how to bike
2) Dont know how to swim
3) Never been fishing before
4) Chubby
5) Any questions? >__<

Quote from: "FinalShadows"Only thing I got fanime last year was that kung fu costume, but its not an actual cosplay... so raiding the closet is pointless.

Plus you're talking about a guy's closet... we dont have anything besides weapons and swords o_o
You can cosplay as a character that wears everyday clothing.
eg: Leitaro-Love Hina http://ca.geocities.com/xenmaster/keinaru.jpg

some of the many examples.

Oh, I see.  Then, well... Huh... So, pretty much you're looking for a last minute cosplay from what you have?  Well, what sort of clothing do you own?  If you can tell us that, we may be able to create some sort of idea for you.

That is actually a very very easy costume to put together (assuming you have extra money)
Step one: Ross
Buy a white dress shirt (~$20 for a nice one), black tie ($5 maybe?), and black vest (probably another $20).  Black slacks (pants) if you don't already own a pair: $30  See if they have trenchcoats, I doubt it though.  Also as long as you keep the tags and reciepts you can return anything you buy at Ross.

Step 2 (assuming no trenchcoats at Ross): Hit up your local goodwills and other such second hand clothing shops.  There are usually some good trenchcoats there.  Check for scarves too.  Where you go determines what you pay.  Gonna be at least another $20 though, maybe even $50

Step 3: Big5 or other sporting goods store buy two black airsoft guns.  Usually $20 each, but maybe you'll catch a sale (they put airsoft guns on sale every other week it seems).

Step 4: cigerratte
Either buy a pack or go to a theatre supply store and buy some fakes. $5

Step 5: black hair dye
Longs or any other such store.  Pretty easy to find wash out black hair dye.  Another $5 or $10

Step 6: sunglasses
You probably already have a pair.  If not Longs or Big5 should have a decent selection of cheap sunglasses $5 - $10

And you're done!

Ok, I decided that im not going to cosplay anymore. Its too much of a hassle and midterms are coming up and stuff. So it looks like i'll have to wait till next year's fanime for something.

Worlds easiest cosplay.  I had no prep time last year and this was what I did.

1.Find something you own that is kind of crazy (funny shirt, strange pants...anything).  I have some temporary spray on hair dye you can have if you'd like to use that to up the anime value of the costume.
2.Get a blank paper label. Or one of those "Hello, My name is" labels.
3.Write on the label
"Hello my name is...
 Random Background Character.
 Nice to meet you"
4.Put the label on your shirt like a name badge.

It's not official cosplay, but you can fit in with just about any group.

I admit, it's cheese-tastic, but I had fun with it.  Infact my sister and I are doing it again this year...along with my regular cosplay.

It's your call.
Sometimes I'm glad I became a teacher.  Other times I wish I had simply become a ninja.

FinalShadows

Alright I found a cosplay that I can do. Hit me up if you want to know what it is :P
